1. About the Service

WaitAndBuy is a free tool designed to help users pause before making purchases by saving item names, prices, and notes about items they are considering buying, and revisiting those decisions after a waiting period. WaitAndBuy is currently offered free of charge. We do not currently process payments, sell products, or operate a marketplace of any kind.

WaitAndBuy does not sell goods, is not a retailer, and is not affiliated with any store, brand, or product you may photograph or log using the Service. We simply provide a tool to support more intentional decision-making.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. WaitAndBuy is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly permit them to create accounts or use account-based features. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Your Account

• You may need to create an account to use certain features (e.g., saving items, submitting stories).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content

4.1 Content You Submit

WaitAndBuy allows you to save item names, prices, notes, and other details for personal purchase tracking. You may also choose to submit personal stories about your purchase decisions for possible publication. These details and submissions are referred to collectively as "User Content." You retain ownership of your User Content.

4.2 License to Us

By providing User Content, you grant WaitAndBuy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and reproduce that content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the Service. If you voluntarily submit a story for publication and it is accepted, you also grant us permission to edit, display, reproduce, and publish that story in connection with WaitAndBuy.

Items saved for personal tracking are intended to remain private and will not be published publicly unless you explicitly authorize their publication. We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

4.3 Your Responsibilities

You agree that any User Content you submit:

• Does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Does not contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful material.
• Is accurate to the best of your knowledge, particularly for stories submitted for publication.

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to review, edit, refuse, or remove any User Content at our discretion, including story submissions reviewed by our editorial team prior to publication.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Upload content that infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or entity.

6. No Purchase Facilitation

WaitAndBuy does not process transactions, hold funds, or facilitate purchases between you and any retailer. Any decision to buy or not buy an item remains entirely your own. We are not responsible for the outcome of your purchase decisions, the accuracy of prices you log, or any transaction you complete with a third-party retailer.

7. Freemium Model & Future Changes

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce optional paid features, subscriptions, or premium tiers in the future. If we do, we will clearly communicate applicable prices and terms before you purchase or subscribe. We may also change or discontinue features, including free features, where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any notice required by these Terms. We will not charge you for a paid feature or subscription without your agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, designs, text, graphics, and other content on the Service (excluding User Content) are owned by WaitAndBuy or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our branding or platform without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Links & Content

The Service may reference or display information about third-party products, stores, or brands, including details that users enter when tracking items or submit in stories. We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for any third-party products, retailers, or content referenced within the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Using the Service will result in any specific financial outcome, savings, or change in spending behavior.
• Any content, story, or information on the Service is complete or accurate.

WaitAndBuy is a decision-support tool, not financial, legal, or professional advice of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WaitAndBuy and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of WaitAndBuy and its operator for claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall be limited to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WaitAndBuy and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create a security risk, or where suspension or termination is reasonably necessary for operational or legal reasons. Where reasonably practicable and permitted by law, we will provide notice. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account in accordance with our account and privacy procedures.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (e.g., via the Service or email) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law and the jurisdiction of any competent consumer forum or other authority, courts having jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service.
